The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is set to release the results for the Class 10 Madhyamik examinations on May 8 at 12 PM. Students will be able to access their results through the official WBBSE websites: wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in. Additionally, the results will also be available on the IE Education Portal.
For those who prefer using DigiLocker, students can retrieve their results by logging in with their registered mobile numbers. To access the results via the board’s website, students will need to enter their roll number and date of birth.
To check results on DigiLocker, follow these steps:
- Visit the official DigiLocker website at digilocker.gov.in.
- Log in using your registered mobile number or create a new account if you do not have one.
- Navigate to the Education and Learning section.
- Look for the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
- Select the Class 10 result option.
- Provide the necessary details as prompted.
- Your result will be available under the issued documents section.
The WBBSE results will include important information such as student names, subject-wise marks, overall pass percentage, and qualifying status. To successfully pass the examination, students are required to achieve at least 33 percent in each subject as well as in the overall aggregate.
This year, approximately 971,340 candidates participated in the exams, which took place across 2,682 schools. Among these, 945 were designated as primary exam centers, while 1,737 served as sub-centers.
In the previous year, the Class 10 results were announced on May 2, with an overall pass rate of 86.56 percent. The highest scorer, Adrit Sarkar, achieved 99.43 percent. In 2024, results were also revealed on May 2, showing an overall pass percentage of 83.61 percent. The results for 2023 were declared on May 19, with a pass percentage of 86.15 percent. In 2022, results came out on June 2, with a total pass rate of 86.60 percent, while in 2021, the results were postponed until July 20.
