Tony Pellé, a distinguished brand specializing in men’s leather footwear in Sri Lanka, has achieved a significant milestone by delivering over 6,500 bespoke leather products for the staff of Cinnamon Life. This accomplishment highlights the brand’s ongoing partnership with one of the nation’s leading hospitality projects.
The extensive order comprises more than 5,000 pairs of authentic leather shoes, along with leather belts and customized coasters, all crafted locally to align with the unique branding and operational needs of the establishment.
Kavindu Helanka, the founder of Tony Pellé, expressed his enthusiasm regarding this achievement, stating, “Collaborating with Cinnamon Life to provide footwear and leather accessories has been a rewarding experience. From the outset, our aim was to create items that not only enhance the visual appeal of the uniforms but also ensure comfort and functionality for the staff representing the hotel.”
All items provided to Cinnamon Life Hotel were made from authentic, sustainably sourced leather. Various leather grains were chosen to accommodate different staff roles while ensuring a balance of style, comfort, and durability. The shoes were specifically designed to handle the demands of the hospitality sector, where employees are often on their feet and traversing the expansive property during lengthy shifts. Furthermore, the use of plant-based tanning techniques and locally sourced outsoles with advanced compositions guarantees lasting color, strength, and a minimized environmental footprint.
In partnership with the Cinnamon Life design team, Tony Pellé tailored each shoe style to align with the themes and concepts of the staff uniforms, incorporating distinctive colors and details that seamlessly integrated with the hotel’s branding.
In addition to footwear, Tony Pellé also provided thoughtfully designed, multifunctional leather belts that offer both versatility and durability for staff use. The company created two-layer, vegetable-tanned leather coasters for the Nuwa Hotel, which were treated with oils and waxes to form a protective layer that allows water to bead on the surface instead of soaking into the leather.
Adhering to European footwear production standards for both material sourcing and manufacturing, Tony Pellé is well-equipped to meet the stringent quality demands of the Cinnamon Life project while ensuring consistent quality control across a vast number of items.
As the sole Sri Lankan brand dedicated exclusively to high-end men’s leather footwear, Tony Pellé remains committed to blending craftsmanship, innovation, and European-standard production methods to create superior footwear that reflects both international quality standards and local skill.
