Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is set to hold the initial round of offline counselling for its BTech Lateral Entry Programme aimed at BSc graduates on June 5 at the Dwarka campus. This programme permits BSc holders to directly enter the second year of the four-year BTech degree, beginning at the third semester.
As per the announcement from the university, only those candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance examination for this programme will be allowed to participate in the counselling session. On the same day, after document verification, seats will be allocated based on the merit ranks of the candidates.
Applicants are required to attend the counselling session with all necessary documentation. This includes a bank draft of Rs 96,000 made out to the Registrar of GGSIPU, four recent passport-sized photos, the admit card and rank card for the Common Entrance Test (CET), a completed online application form, a certificate of date of birth, and other pertinent academic records.
The university has also indicated that candidates can cancel their allotted seats until June 8, which allows them the flexibility to withdraw their admission if needed. The subsequent round of counselling for the BTech Lateral Entry Programme is planned for June 9.

With the start of the counselling for the BTech Programme, GGSIPU has officially launched its admission counselling activities for the forthcoming academic year, setting the stage for enrolments across various programmes in the coming weeks.
