Yash is preparing for the release of two highly anticipated films, “Toxic” and “Ramayana.” In a significant development in their personal life, he and his wife, Radhika Pandit, have made a noteworthy investment by acquiring premium beachfront property in Alibag, Maharashtra.
Documents obtained from the real estate consultancy Liases Foras reveal that the couple purchased two adjacent parcels of agricultural land in Village Kamath, located in Taluka Alibag, District Raigad, for a total of Rs 24 crore. This transaction was officially registered on May 18, 2026, at the Alibag Sub-Registrar’s Office.
The property is strategically situated in a coastal region of Village Kamath, close to Kihim beach. The total land area is approximately 5,289 square metres (0.5289 hectares) and includes a residential structure. The land is bordered by a village road to the east and the sea to the west, with a narrow lane on the northern edge providing direct beach access. The buyers also incurred costs of Rs 1.44 crore in stamp duty, along with Rs 60,000 for registration and Rs 5,200 for document processing fees.
Classified as agricultural under Section 7, the land has a recorded valuation of Rs 3,750 per square metre. The transaction was facilitated by attorney Prashant Dileep Hardikar, who was appointed by both Yash and Radhika through separate powers of attorney dated May 11, 2026. The sellers of the property were Naseem Iqbal Halim and Iffat Shafique Ahmadi.
In other news, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” is one of Yash’s eagerly awaited action films. Initially scheduled to release alongside “Dhurandhar 2,” its release has been postponed to June 4, though it currently lacks a confirmed date. Despite the delays, Yash has expressed optimism about the film, recently commending director Geetu Mohandas, recognized for her work in “Moothon” and “Liar’s Dice,” for her unique cinematic vision.
In a conversation with American content creator Sabeen Faheem, Yash highlighted the film’s innovative approach, stating, “The most exciting aspect is that action films in India have historically been dominated by male directors. A large-scale action film, especially a gangster film, presented through a female perspective, is both novel and refreshing.”
He further elaborated on Geetu’s role in enhancing the film’s emotional and sensual nuances, aspects that have generated discussion since the film’s first look was unveiled earlier this year. Yash remarked, “Her vision is clear, and she possesses a strong conviction in her work. She is an outstanding writer, and I have learned a great deal. The way a woman can express desire, romance, or sensuality is distinct, and I have come to appreciate this throughout this journey.”
