A firefighter, aged 37, from southern Tasmania, has been arrested on charges related to the possession of bestiality materials.
The individual was apprehended by law enforcement after they reportedly discovered such materials on a storage device during an investigation.
The accused faces a single charge of possessing bestiality-related content and is scheduled to appear in Hobart Magistrates Court in October.
In response to the incident, Simon Pilkington, Acting Deputy Chief of the Tasmania Fire Service, confirmed that the firefighter has been suspended from his duties.
