After their wedding ceremony in Mumbai on July 6, Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar celebrated with an extravagant reception on Tuesday evening. A standout moment of the event was a lively performance by their close friends, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.
Footage from the reception has circulated widely on social media, showcasing Ranveer and Arjun igniting the dance floor with their spirited rendition of “Tune Maari Entriyaan,” a popular song from their 2014 film, Gunday. The pair, surrounded by enthusiastic guests, appeared to revel in the joyous atmosphere as they danced together.
The festivities intensified when the duo took to the stage alongside singer Himesh Reshammiya, entertaining the crowd with some of his well-known tracks. They notably performed “Mujhko Yaad Sataye Teri,” with both Ranveer and Arjun joining in on the vocals.
In additional clips shared online, Ranveer was seen enjoying the evening, dancing to tracks from Dhurandhar while guests captured the lively moments on their phones.
The reception welcomed numerous members of the Kapoor family, including Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Shanaya Kapoor. The event also attracted a host of Bollywood stars such as Bobby Deol, Rekha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Orry, Jackie Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh, and Genelia D’Souza, among others.
This lively appearance comes at a pivotal time for Ranveer Singh, who is currently enjoying the success of his recent release, the two-part spy saga Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar. However, he has also been in the spotlight due to a significant controversy involving his alleged last-minute withdrawal from Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, reportedly occurring just before filming was set to begin. Excel Entertainment subsequently sought damages for losses incurred during the film’s pre-production, leading to mediation that escalated to industry bodies. Ultimately, a non-cooperation directive was issued against him but was later lifted.
On the professional front, Ranveer is gearing up for his upcoming zombie action film, Pralay, directed by Jay Mehta.
