Ranjan, a childhood friend of actress Alia Bhatt, shared moments from her special day on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt message for her husband: “Home doesn’t feel complete without you, and with you, I feel fearless.”
Adorned in a stunning red bridal sari designed by Arpita Mehta, featuring gold brocade details, Ranjan exchanged vows with Sharma, who looked distinguished in an ivory kurta-pajama ensemble complemented by a matching Nehru jacket. She enhanced her bridal look with layered necklaces, earrings, bangles, and a haathphool, while a maang tika adorned her elegantly styled hair.
Opting for a more intimate celebration, the couple chose a straightforward registration ceremony, surrounded by family and friends. Ranjan and Sharma, who reportedly began their relationship in 2022, have maintained a low profile, keeping their romance largely private until now.
The wedding was attended by several prominent figures in Bollywood, including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Karan Johar, and Athiya Shetty, all of whom were seen enjoying the festivities. A trending video captured the actor Ranbir Kapoor showcasing his dance moves to the songs “Maahi Ve” and “Panwadi” during the pre-wedding celebrations, joined by Akansha’s sister Anushka Ranjan, her husband Aditya Seal, and other close friends and bridesmaids.
For the occasion, Alia Bhatt wore a regal purple sari adorned with intricate gold embroidery and accents of neon yellow, paired with a corset-style blouse. Instead of draping the pallu traditionally, she elegantly arranged it across her right arm. Her look was completed with a sleek bun, understated makeup, a gold choker, jhumkas, Kolhapuri wedges, and a coordinating potli bag.
