The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) concluded the trading day on Thursday, the 16th, with a positive performance, as both primary indices displayed slight increases.
The All Share Price Index (ASPI) saw an uptick of 29.77 points, finishing at 21,447.57, while the S&P SL20 Index improved by 16.37 points, closing at 6,004.99.
The total market turnover for the day reached Rs. 1.48 billion.
E.B. Creasy & Company PLC was the leading contributor to the day’s turnover, achieving a traded value of Rs. 410 million, which included a significant transaction amounting to Rs. 260 million.
In addition to E.B. Creasy & Company PLC, ACL Cables PLC was the only other firm to surpass Rs. 100 million in turnover, with its total transactions reaching Rs. 114 million during the trading session.
