Jenitar Na’amoana and her spouse, Jortham, believed their family was complete after the birth of their four children. However, they experienced a surprising twist when they welcomed four identical daughters, all conceived naturally.

Na’amoana, aged 34, gave birth to her daughters—Emily, Harriet, Catherine, and Alexa—last week.

Dr. Alexa Bendall from the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital expressed amazement at the healthy delivery of all four babies, who were born at 28 weeks and four days. “It’s remarkable that we have four beautiful, healthy babies,” she stated.

These quadruplets share identical DNA since they originated from a single fertilized egg that divided into four embryos, rendering their case a rare one-in-15-million event.

In 2020, a similar occurrence took place when the Marr family in Dallas celebrated the arrival of their own naturally conceived identical quadruplets: Harrison, Henry, Hardy, and Hudson.

Jenny Marr remarked that, despite the odds, they felt as though they had hit the jackpot in the genetic lottery. “You find yourself overwhelmed, exhausted, and sleep-deprived, with four babies to care for, but the joy is quadrupled,” she shared with CBS News.

Marr offered valuable advice to Jenitar and Jortham Na’amoana, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a sleep schedule. “That’s essential for survival,” she advised. “It’s crucial that mom takes care of herself. I wish for their daughters to be healthy and reach all their milestones—this is truly an exciting time.”
