Washington — Senator Mitch McConnell, a Republican from Kentucky, announced on Thursday that he has been released from a rehabilitation facility, following nearly two months of hospitalization.
In his statement, McConnell shared, “Earlier today, I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home.”
The statement did not specify when McConnell plans to return to the Senate.
McConnell was admitted to the hospital on June 14.
