Sysco LABS, the Global Innovation Center for Sysco, has been honored as one of Sri Lanka’s Most Outstanding Women-Friendly Workplaces at the Women-Friendly Workplace Awards 2026. This accolade represents the highest level of recognition the organization has achieved in the awards’ history.
This award signifies a crucial step in Sysco LABS’ commitment to fostering an environment where women are encouraged not just to join the technology sector but also to thrive, advance, and establish rewarding long-term careers.
The 2026 awards, held recently and organized by Satynmag, mark the continuation of a six-year effort to acknowledge and motivate organizations to transition from mere intentions to achieving substantial and measurable advancements for women in the workplace. This year’s focus particularly highlighted a pivotal question for women-friendly workplaces: beyond mere representation, how far can women progress?
This recognition is part of Sysco LABS’ evolving history at the Women-Friendly Workplaces Awards. After receiving an “Honorable Mention” in 2023 and a special award for “Best Women in STEM Project” in 2025, 2026 is the first year the organization has been acknowledged as one of Sri Lanka’s Most Outstanding Women-Friendly Workplaces.
Commenting on this achievement, Rehan Anthonis, Senior Director of People Operations, stated, “This acknowledgment is particularly significant as it reflects years of hard work and dedication.
