As elections approach, state governments and their leaders often take steps to highlight their accomplishments. Uttarakhand’s CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has opted for a distinctive approach to convey his achievements to the electorate—by releasing a hardcover book in Hindi titled ‘Nayak se Jannayak: Pushkar Singh Dhami’. Written by Madan Mohan Sati and Suwarn Rawa, this publication chronicles the CM’s policy decisions, speeches, and activities over the past five years. Additionally, it features two plays in which Dhami is depicted as the central character. The first, titled ‘Karmayogi’, portrays him as an active leader who enacted the Uniform Civil Code and anti-conversion legislation within the state. The second play, ‘The Mission Silkyara’, recounts his role in coordinating the rescue of 41 construction workers who were trapped for 17 days following a tunnel collapse in Silkyara in 2023. These plays have been performed at various venues throughout the state, with their frequency expected to increase as the election date approaches, according to sources.

The BJP is also initiating a comprehensive office renovation project for its newly appointed organizational members. The party’s headquarters, located on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, is undergoing updates across its four floors. While many of the new office-bearers have already settled into their designated offices, a few are still awaiting completion of their workspaces.
