For over ten years, Caleb Stein has captured the essence of a shared swimming creek located in Poughkeepsie, New York, through his photography. Each summer, he revisits this iconic location to chronicle the vibrant community that gathers there. Stein reflects on the connections he has forged with the individuals he has encountered during these visits. His work, titled “Down by the Hudson,” is set to be published by Palo Press, and an exhibition showcasing his photographs will open in New York on September 10.
