Vishal Chaturvedi’s film “Hanuman Ansh,” which explores the life of the revered spiritual leader Neem Karoli Baba, continues to break box office records nearly two months post-release. The devotional feature has recently surpassed a staggering Rs 400 crore in global earnings, amounting to 200 times its stated production budget. In addition to receiving favorable reviews, the film gained significant attention due to its song “Maine Tere Hi Bharose,” performed by the visually impaired Bundeli artist Suneel Lodhi, which has gone viral across social media platforms.
In a show of support, Anupriya Nagar, the co-producer of “Hanuman Ansh,” has taken the initiative to assist with Suneel’s eye treatment. Inspired by the positive reception of his song and his involvement in the film, Anupriya announced her commitment to support his medical care. In a recent conversation with Hindustan Times, she mentioned that her efforts were complemented by the support from the government, which has also played a role in facilitating Lodhi’s treatment.
“I have been arranging consultation appointments for Suneel ji in Mumbai, demonstrating our commitment to addressing his vision issues. The Madhya Pradesh government has also stepped in to aid his treatment. This has truly been a collaborative effort,” she expressed.
Additionally, there have been speculations surrounding the possibility of Akshay Kumar joining the sequel of “Hanuman Ansh.” This rumor was sparked by Anupriya Nagar’s previous remark referring to Akshay as her “favorite actor.” When questioned about his potential involvement in the sequel, she stated, “Voh Maharaj ji batayenge,” a comment that quickly gained traction online, leading fans to speculate about his participation.
However, in a recent interview, she clarified, “I have not stated anything regarding Akshay Kumar’s involvement in part 2. That information is incorrect.”
The directorial venture by Vishal Chaturvedi, “Hanuman Ansh,” has amassed Rs 309.38 crore within India and achieved a worldwide total of Rs 404.25 crore. The film features notable performances from Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand in key roles.
