Justice Samuel Alito of the Supreme Court shared with CBS News’ chief legal correspondent, Jan Crawford, that his ruling in the 2022 case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which resulted in the reversal of Roe v. Wade, has led to the loss of friendships. In an interview scheduled to air on Monday, Alito remarked, “Making decisions on contentious issues is an inherent aspect of the role, and it is inevitable that such choices will upset some individuals.”
