On Saturday, Rahul Gandhi, a Member of Parliament and the Leader of the Opposition, introduced the ‘Satyagraha’ digital platform, aimed at uniting various issue-driven protests taking place across India.
In a post on X, Gandhi highlighted the ongoing struggles faced by diverse groups, stating, “Individuals nationwide are battling for their rights, often in isolation. From Gen Z and students to farmers, Adivasis, Dalits, and women, each conflict has its own narrative. However, a solitary voice is frequently more vulnerable to suppression.”
Drawing inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi, he urged citizens to document their protests against the government through the Satyagraha platform. “Bapu taught us that truth is our most powerful tool, but an even more formidable force is collective action. If you are confronting any form of injustice, please share your experience. It will only take a couple of minutes,” he stated.
Gandhi further expressed, “Our goal is to assist in organizing these protests, bringing them together, and collaborating with you to help address your concerns. Visit the Satyagraha website, complete the form, register your movement, and we will explore how we can provide support. We will be in contact with you.”
