Karnataka’s 2nd PUC 2026 Results Expected to Be Revealed Today: Announcement on Timing Imminent

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is set to announce the results for the 2nd Pre-University Certificate (PUC), also known as Class 12, on April 9, 2026. Students will be able to view their results on the official websites, karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in, once they are published. Although the exact time for the results announcement has yet to be confirmed, it is anticipated that updates will be provided throughout the day.

Initially, the release of the PUC results was slated for April 7, but it has since been postponed to April 9. This year, approximately 710,363 candidates registered for the Class 12 PUC examinations, which were conducted across 5,174 pre-university colleges in the state. Among these, 292,645 students are enrolled in the science stream, 211,174 in commerce, and 142,982 in arts.

For further information regarding the PUC II results, including details about the marksheets and supplementary exam procedures, additional resources are available.

The KSEAB administered the Class 12 examinations over an 18-day period, from February 28 to March 17, with a time allocation of three hours and 15 minutes for each paper. The exams took place in 1,217 centers throughout Karnataka.

In the previous year, the Karnataka board released the Class 12 results on April 8, following examinations held from March 1 to March 20. The overall pass rate last year was recorded at 69.16%, with 476,256 out of 688,678 candidates successfully passing the exams. Additionally, the results for the 2024 pre-university exams were announced on April 10.

Recently, the government has adjusted the passing criteria, lowering the minimum required marks for Class 10 (SSLC) from 35% to 33% and for Class 12 from 35% to 30%. To maintain integrity during the KSEAB 2026 examinations, joint teams of inspectors from both the board and the education department conducted regular checks. Furthermore, following discussions with senior officials, the School Education and Literacy Minister Madhu Bangarappa revealed that the department would monitor social media platforms during the Class 10 and 12 examinations to deter any potential leaks of examination materials.
