RMD Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, a prominent human resources consultancy known for its expertise in HR management, has revealed plans for its third public Japanese Management Training Programme (MTP), set to commence on May 6, 2026. This session will also mark the 60th MTP cohort held in Sri Lanka, further solidifying RMD’s standing in the field of management training and organizational development.
The six-week training course will take place at a renowned four-star hotel in Colombo, encompassing a total of 64 hours of blended learning spread across six consecutive Wednesdays. The program will feature a mix of interactive workshops, structured assignments, and 17 video case studies to foster practical learning. Participants will explore essential themes such as management fundamentals, creative problem-solving, workplace improvement and management, building trustful relationships, leadership dynamics, and understanding human behavior. Rohan Pandithakorralage, the Managing Director of RMD Consultants and former Chief Human Resources Officer at Aitken Spence PLC, will facilitate the program. He has previously trained over 5,000 managers across Southeast Asia, many of whom have ascended to significant leadership roles in various organizations. Additionally, Rohan is a founding fellow of the Association of HR Professionals (AHRP) in Sri Lanka, contributing to its establishment.
“At RMD Consultants, we focus on providing data-driven, practical, and outcome-oriented HR solutions,” Rohan Pandithakorralage stated. “Our mission is to assist organizations in avoiding costly HR errors, enhancing their people management systems, and fostering productive, engaged, and future-ready workplaces.”
Established in 2022 by Rohan Pandithakorralage, Madaara Ranwala, and Dilshini Samarawickrema, RMD Consultants caters to businesses across more than 20 different sectors. Central to their offerings is HR diagnostics and strategic consulting, implemented through a structured framework known as CIDS—consultation, in-depth analysis, diagnosis, and solution development. By leveraging these insights, RMD identifies critical HR and organizational challenges, evaluates their effects on performance and engagement, and provides precise, data-driven recommendations. Customized HR strategies and action plans are formulated, complete with specific timelines, supported implementation, and measurable results. This methodology aids organizations in minimizing hiring errors and attrition, enhancing productivity and engagement, and aligning human resource strategies with business goals.
In addition, RMD provides specialized talent sourcing and headhunting services across various organizational levels, from entry-level positions and internships to middle management and executive roles. Utilizing a well-curated professional network, RMD goes beyond mere job descriptions to grasp the broader business context of each role. By mapping the talent landscape, engaging with passive candidates, and conducting thorough screenings for technical skills and cultural alignment, RMD consistently delivers high-caliber, job-ready candidates. This strategy shortens hiring timelines, decreases the likelihood of hiring mistakes, and bolsters long-term employee retention.
“We are strongly committed to giving back to the community,” Rohan Pandithakorralage remarked. “We foster partnerships with leading universities in Sri Lanka to equip undergraduates with vital managerial skills crucial for their future careers.”
The forthcoming Management Training Programme represents a significant opportunity for organizations and professionals aiming to enhance their managerial skills and cultivate future leadership capabilities. For further details, please visit www.rmdsl.com.
