The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) is expected to announce the results for the Class 10 board examinations on the morning of April 10, 2026, although an official confirmation is still pending. Once the results are made available, students can access their scores on the official ASSEB websites: asseb.in, ahsec.assam.gov.in, and assamresult.in.
In addition, students have the option to verify their pass status through the IE Education portal.
For context, last year’s results for the Assam Class 10 board were disclosed on April 11. The examinations took place from February 15 to March 3, with practical assessments held on January 21 and 22. The overall pass percentage for that year stood at 63.98%.
The 2026 Higher School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exams conducted by ASSEB commenced on February 10 and concluded on February 27, spanning a total of 17 days. The exams were organized in two shifts: the morning session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the afternoon session from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Each examination paper lasted for three hours and five minutes, which included an additional five minutes for students to familiarize themselves with the question paper before the exams began.
Last year, Amishi Saikia achieved the highest score in the Assam board Class 10 results, securing 591 marks (98.50%) out of a possible 600. Following her, Saptarswa Bordoloi and Anirban Borgohain attained the second and third ranks, with scores of 590 (98.33%) and 589 (98.17%), respectively.
In 2024, the ASSEB Class 10 results were released on April 20, with an overall pass rate of 75.7%. A total of 419,078 students participated in the SEBA Assam board Class 10 examinations that year, of which 317,317 passed, and 105,873 students achieved first division.
Looking back at previous years, the results for the ASSEB Class 10 board exams were announced on May 22 in 2023, June 7 in 2022, and July 29 in 2021.
