Trump criticizes MAGA influencers for distancing themselves amid Iran tensions.

On Thursday, former President Donald Trump shared an extensive commentary targeting several conservative media personalities who have previously supported him but are now vocal critics of U.S. military actions in Iran.

In a message posted on his social media platform, Trump defended the United States’ military engagement in Iran while explicitly naming notable figures such as Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones. He claimed, “They’re not ‘MAGA’.”

Trump expressed his belief that the criticism from Carlson, Kelly, Owens, and Jones stems from what he described as their collective low intelligence, suggesting they view Iran—identified as the top state sponsor of terrorism—as deserving of nuclear capabilities. He remarked, “I understand their opposition; they are not ‘MAGA’ but rather losers trying to affiliate themselves with the MAGA movement. As President, I could easily win them over, but I choose not to respond to their calls as I am focused on global and national issues.”

These remarks emerge amid a growing rift within the MAGA community regarding Trump’s policies in the Middle East, particularly as Carlson and Kelly have begun to confront him more directly.

Jones has gone so far as to advocate for Trump’s Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, claiming that Trump is unfit to serve. Meanwhile, Owens has labeled Trump a “Mad King” and has called on Congress to take action against him.

Carlson criticized Trump’s recent threatening remarks toward Iran, describing them as “vile on every level” during his podcast on Monday. Kelly also voiced her discontent, reacting to Trump’s warning that he would annihilate a “whole civilization” if the Strait of Hormuz was not reopened. She expressed her frustration on her podcast, stating, “I don’t know about you, but I am sick of this nonsense! Can’t he just act like a normal person? Honestly, like the president—’3D chess’—just be quiet.”
