Renowned playback singer Asha Bhosle was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday evening. Sources informed PTI that the 92-year-old artist was hospitalized due to a cardiac arrest and associated pulmonary issues.

Asha Bhosle is celebrated as one of the most iconic figures in Indian music, boasting a career that has thrived for over seventy years. Initially overshadowed by her elder sister Lata Mangeshkar, she forged a unique identity characterized by her bold, playful, and remarkably versatile singing style.
