Tragic Incident: 25-Year-Old Woman Loses Life in Swimming Hole Near Alice Springs

A woman aged 25 has tragically drowned at a well-known swimming spot near Alice Springs.

The Northern Territory Police reported that they were alerted around 12:50 PM regarding attempts to perform CPR on the woman at Ellery Creek Big Hole.

Rescue efforts were subsequently taken over by St John Ambulance, but unfortunately, the woman could not be revived.

The location has been temporarily closed to the public as authorities conduct their investigation.

At this time, police have not confirmed whether the individual was a resident of the Northern Territory or from another area.
