Individual Arrested in Connection with Finbar Sullivan’s Homicide in Primrose Hill

A man has been charged with murder following the stabbing death of a 21-year-old in north London, according to police reports.

Finbar Sullivan lost his life on Tuesday, April 7, after being attacked in Primrose Hill. On Sunday, 27-year-old Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu was formally charged with murder.

The Metropolitan Police stated that Ogunyankinnu, who was taken into custody on Friday, is scheduled to appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Additionally, a 25-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of aiding an offender has since been released without any charges, police confirmed.

Finbar Sullivan, a student of filmmaking, was fatally stabbed at a scenic viewpoint in Primrose Hill during the early evening hours on Tuesday. His father, Christopher Sullivan, 65, mentioned that his son had visited the area to try out a new camera he received as a birthday gift.

“This is the worst tragedy I could ever imagine,” he expressed to the Daily Mail. “I’m utterly heartbroken; I can’t believe it. He was the most beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy. He was just a really lovely person.”

Christopher Sullivan revealed that his son aspired to pursue a career in filmmaking, inspired by his grandfather, Michael Seresin, a cameraman known for his work on “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” and “Rambo III.”

Authorities are calling on anyone with pertinent information to share it through the Met’s online major incident portal or to contact 101, referencing incident number 6448/07Apr.
