The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has initiated the registration process for the JEE Advanced 2026, specifically targeting Foreign National and OCI/PIO (F) candidates. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is scheduled to take place on May 17, and interested applicants can register through the official website at jeeadv.ac.in.
To ensure their participation, candidates must complete their registration and submit the application fee by May 4, 2026.
This registration is distinct from that of Indian applicants, catering exclusively to foreign nationals and OCI/PIO candidates classified as foreign (OCI/PIO-F).
Foreign nationals and OCI/PIO (F) candidates have the advantage of registering for JEE Advanced directly, bypassing the requirement to qualify for JEE Main, provided they meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the information brochure.
The entire application process is conducted online, where candidates must fill out a registration form with essential details, including personal information, nationality, and passport or OCI/PIO credentials, along with their academic history. Additionally, applicants are required to upload supporting documents during this process.
According to official regulations, OCI/PIO candidates are categorized based on the date they received their cards. Those applying in the OCI/PIO (F) group will be treated equally to foreign nationals and will be eligible solely for foreign supernumerary positions in IITs, without access to the reservation benefits available to Indian candidates.
The registration fees vary according to the applicant’s country of residence, with distinct fee structures for candidates from SAARC and non-SAARC countries.
Admit cards for the JEE Advanced will be available for download from May 11 to May 17, 2026.
For candidates who qualify for JEE Main 2026, the online registration for JEE Advanced 2026 will commence on April 23 and conclude on May 2. The final answer key and results for JEE Advanced 2026 will be announced on June 1.
