Suspect Faces Murder Charges Following Stabbing Incident on Central Coast

A suspect has been charged with murder following a stabbing incident on the Central Coast of New South Wales.

Emergency responders were dispatched to a residence on Buff Point Avenue, located approximately 4 kilometers south of Doyalson, around 8 PM last night after receiving reports of an assault.

According to law enforcement officials, the incident involved two men who were acquainted with one another, resulting in a confrontation that ended with a 42-year-old man being stabbed.

Despite the efforts of paramedics who provided immediate medical assistance, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 20-year-old male suspect was apprehended in the vicinity and subsequently taken to the Gosford Police Station, where he was formally charged with murder.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in the Bail Division Court later today.
