Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Report Day 20: Ranveer Singh’s Film Maintains Strong Weekday Performance, Surpasses Baahubali 2’s Domestic Earnings

As of Day 20, the box office performance of Aditya Dhar’s film, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” has been noteworthy, having achieved numerous records. However, there are indications that its momentum is diminishing. On Monday, the film experienced its lowest daily earnings, garnering Rs 10 crore, but a slight recovery was observed on Tuesday.

Trade analyst Sacnilk reported that on its third Tuesday, “Dhurandhar 2” earned Rs 10.10 crore. This brings the film’s gross revenue in India to Rs 1,237.21 crore and net earnings to Rs 1,033.37 crore thus far. Internationally, the film added Rs 4 crore on Day 20, elevating its overseas total to Rs 404 crore. Consequently, the global gross for the film now totals Rs 1,641.21 crore.

On its 20th day, “Dhurandhar 2” maintained an overall occupancy rate of 14.21%. The film’s morning screenings reported an occupancy of 9.85%, which increased to 16.08% during afternoon showings. Evening performances saw a slight decline to 15.69%, while night screenings finished lower at 15.23%.

While “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” has secured its position as the fourth highest-grossing film in history, it still trails behind several others. Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa 2” ranks third with Rs 1,742.10 crore, followed by Prabhas’s “Baahubali 2” at Rs 1,788.60 crore, and Aamir Khan’s “Dangal,” which holds the top spot with Rs 1,968.03 crore.

In a related event, the first installment of the franchise, “Dhurandhar,” received 14 awards at the Chetak Screen Awards held on Sunday night. Among the notable winners were Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar, who took home the Best Actor Male and Best Director awards, respectively. Akshaye Khanna was also recognized as the Best Supporting Actor Male for his role in the film.

On Day 20, “Dhurandhar 2” continued to perform steadily across various languages, with the Hindi version leading the charge and earning Rs 9.50 crore at an occupancy rate of 14.0% across 12,534 screenings. The Telugu version reported Rs 0.35 crore with 19.0% occupancy from 516 shows, while the Tamil version contributed Rs 0.15 crore at 16.0% occupancy across 327 shows. The Kannada and Malayalam versions earned Rs 0.08 crore (19.0% occupancy, 125 shows) and Rs 0.02 crore (13.0% occupancy, 52 shows), respectively.

Despite experiencing a decline in earnings, “Dhurandhar 2” has surpassed the lifetime box office collection of S. S. Rajamouli’s “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,” which stands at Rs 1,030.42 crore. The film’s total gross in India has now reached Rs 1,237.21 crore, with net collections at Rs 1,033.37 crore so far.

On the previous day, Day 19, “Dhurandhar 2” earned Rs 10.00 crore with 13,736 viewers attending and an occupancy rate of 14.2%.
