Rideshare Driver Allegedly Involved in Sexual Assault and Stalking Cases Against Several Women

A 29-year-old man from Brisbane faces multiple charges, including three counts of stalking, along with one count each of rape, coercive control, and making threats of violence.

Law enforcement officials stated that thorough investigations suggest the individual was involved in three distinct incidents occurring between 2020 and 2025.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 17.

The individual, who worked as a rideshare driver, has been charged in connection with incidents involving three women throughout the city over a five-year period.

According to Queensland Police, the driver allegedly formed a connection with a 27-year-old passenger through social media after providing her with a ride home in a white Mercedes Benz A45 in June 2025.

Police detailed that during their relationship, the accused purportedly accessed the woman’s phone without permission and made threats of physical harm. It is claimed that the woman attempted to end the relationship multiple times without success.

On July 20, the man reportedly went to the woman’s residence uninvited and sexually assaulted her, leading her to terminate the relationship and instruct him not to contact her again.

However, on August 17, he allegedly showed up at her home again and threatened her but left when he noticed other individuals present.

In a different incident on November 1, 2024, the man is said to have shared social media details with a 21-year-old woman who had used his rideshare service to return from Fortitude Valley.

Police allege that during the following week, the accused sent her numerous messages and threatened to visit her workplace. The woman, who had not seen him since their initial ride, blocked him on social media and her phone before reporting the situation to the police.

The allegations date back to November 2020 when the man reportedly assaulted a 20-year-old woman two months into their relationship. It is claimed he made multiple phone calls each day and showed up at her house if she did not answer.

After ending the relationship in early 2021, the woman sought assistance at a police station in May of that year regarding the incidents.

On November 17, 2025, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in Ferny Hills, seizing mobile phones and a laptop believed to belong to the accused.

The 29-year-old man from Ferny Hills now faces charges of one count each for rape, coercive control, and making threats of violence, along with three counts of stalking.

Police emphasized that comprehensive investigations point to the same individual being implicated in all reported incidents. Detectives are encouraging anyone who may have experienced similar offenses to reach out to law enforcement.
