The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) is set to release the results for the Class 10 Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) examinations for the year 2026 today at 10:30 AM. Students eager to view their marksheets can do so via the official websites: asseb.in, sebaonline.org, and assamresult.in. Additionally, results will be accessible through result.digilocker.gov.in and the ASSEB mobile application. During an election rally, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma indicated a tentative schedule for the announcement of these results, emphasizing that the HSLC results are expected to be made public on April 10, alongside the results for Class 12.
The Class 10 examinations for the year 2026 took place from February 10 to February 27. In contrast, the 2025 HSLC theory exams were conducted between February 15 and March 3, with results released on April 11 of that year, reflecting an overall pass rate of 63.98%. In 2024, results were disclosed on April 20, while previous years saw announcements on May 22 in 2023, June 7 in 2022, and July 29 in 2021.
Ranoj Pegu, Assam’s Minister for Higher Education, School Education, and Tribal Affairs, confirmed the timing of the Class 10 results via a post on X.
Over the years, the pass percentage for the Assam Board Class 10 examinations has varied significantly. The pass rate for 2025 was recorded at 63.98%, while 2024 saw a higher rate of 75.7%. The percentages for 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020 were 72.69%, 56.49%, 93.10%, and 64.80%, respectively. The recent 2026 exams took place within the same period from February 10 to February 27.
The Class 10 matriculation results will also be available on the DigiLocker website.
Last year, a total of 429,449 students registered for the Class 10 exams, with 422,737 actually participating, comprising 187,752 male and 234,985 female candidates. A total of 6,712 students were absent, while 22 students had their results withheld, and 101 students were expelled during the examinations. Ultimately, 270,471 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 63.98%. Among these, the pass rate for male students was 67.59%, compared to 61.09% for female students.
The announcement of the Assam Board Class 10 matric results will take place precisely at 10:30 AM today, April 10.
Students can check and download their results through the official sites, including site.sebaonline.org and DigiLocker. To access results on result.digilocker.gov.in, students will need to log in using their roll numbers.
The Assam Board employs a division system for results classification. Students achieving 60% or above are awarded a first division, those scoring between 45% and 59% receive a second division, and scores ranging from 30% to 44% are categorized as third division. This classification will be clearly indicated on the marksheet, along with the total marks obtained.
