“Disappointing Outcome: Vance Reports Lack of Consensus Following Iran Peace Negotiations”

US Vice President JD Vance reported that extensive discussions lasting 21 hours between the United States and Iran were productive in nature, yet no consensus has been reached.

“We have engaged in 21 hours of discussions, which have included numerous meaningful exchanges with the Iranian representatives. That’s the positive aspect,” Vance stated. “However, the downside is that we have not finalized any agreement, which is unfavorable for Iran, and even more so, it is detrimental to the United States.”

He emphasized that the United States had clearly defined its non-negotiable points and indicated the areas where it was willing to be flexible. Conversely, he noted that Iran had not accepted the terms put forth.

“We return to the United States without having reached a deal. We have articulated our boundaries, identified what we can compromise on, and delineated what we will not compromise on. We communicated this as clearly as possible, but they opted not to agree to our terms,” he explained.

During the negotiations, the Vice President reiterated Washington’s insistence on a definitive commitment from Tehran to renounce any pursuit of nuclear weapons and the means to develop them.
