Four individuals have sustained serious injuries due to a collision involving two vehicles and a motorcycle in the vicinity of Brisbane.
Emergency responders arrived at the incident site on Tamborine Mountain Road in the Scenic Rim around 10:40 AM on Sunday following reports of the crash.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Additionally, a man and a woman in their 70s were transported to the same hospital by ambulance, both suffering from life-threatening conditions.
Three men in their 20s, who were passengers in one of the cars, also incurred injuries; one of them was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition, while the other two were admitted in stable condition.
As a result of the incident, Tamborine Mountain Road has been closed between Barry Road and Beenleigh-Beaudesert Road, and drivers are urged to steer clear of the affected area.
