Experience Arijit Singh’s captivating performance at HCL’s 50th anniversary celebration, where employees enjoy complimentary metro rides.

The HCL Group, a prominent player in the Indian IT sector, marked its 50th anniversary with a special event that included a live performance by renowned singer Arijit Singh on Saturday. This exclusive celebration was organized specifically for employees of HCLTech.

Footage from the event quickly gained traction on social media, showcasing Singh entertaining a lively audience with a selection of his famous Bollywood hits. One attendee shared a video on Instagram, expressing the unique atmosphere of the event: “The level is different, boss. Feel, voice, vibe – all next level.”

The event was graced by the presence of Shiv Nadar, the billionaire founder of the company. In a widely circulated video, Nadar, who was in a wheelchair, was seen surrounded by children while waving to the audience, receiving a warm round of applause. A viewer commented on the video, “Shiv Nadar ji: 50 years of excellence.”

In addition to the concert, HCLTech prioritized the convenience of its employees on their way home. Employee Ayush Singh mentioned that the company collaborated with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to extend metro services late into the night.

In a viral Instagram clip, Singh shared that staff members enjoyed complimentary rides on the Delhi Metro following the concert. The metro services were reportedly extended until 12:30 AM exclusively for HCL employees, who were allowed entry without tickets by simply presenting their company ID cards at the stations.

Singh expressed his surprise at the gesture, stating, “These are all HCL employees and we have free entry and Metro access till 12:30. Like this is unbelievable, I did not have this expectation from HCL.”

Founded in 1976 by a group of eight engineers led by Shiv Nadar, HCL Group has grown into a significant entity within the technology industry.
