Maharashtra Announces Date and Time for 2026 SSC Class 10 Results

The Maharashtra Secondary School Certificate (SSC) is set to announce the results for the Class 10 board examinations on May 8 at 1:00 PM. Students will be able to access their results on the official websites, mahahsscboard.in and sscresult.mkcl.org, as soon as they are made available. Additionally, the IE Education portal will provide information regarding the SSC 10th results and students’ passing status.

A press conference is scheduled for 11 AM, with a link to the results expected to go live at 1 PM, according to an official announcement.

This year, the Maharashtra Board conducted the Class 10 examinations from February 20 to March 18. A total of 16,15,489 candidates registered for the exam, comprising 8,65,740 male students, 7,49,736 female students, and 13 transgender candidates. The exams are being held across 5,111 centers statewide, marking an increase of 3,879 students compared to the previous year. Registrations have come from 23,683 schools throughout Maharashtra.

Historically, the Maharashtra Board has released Class 10 results on varying dates. In 2022, results were announced on May 13 after exams conducted from February 21 to March 17, with an overall pass percentage of 94.10%. The following year, in 2024, results were declared on May 27, following examinations held from March 1 to March 22, resulting in a pass percentage of 95.81%. In 2023 and 2022, results were shared on June 2 and June 17, respectively, while in 2021, they were released on July 16. Students seeking further details about the SSC Class 10 results, including passing marks and top performers, can visit the IE Education portal.

During a press conference held on February 18, Nandkumar Bedse, the interim Chairperson of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), revealed that 554 out of the 5,111 examination centers do not have CCTV surveillance. Furthermore, 191 centers are classified as sensitive, indicating a higher risk of irregularities, with 42 of these lacking the necessary CCTV equipment. Staff at these sensitive centers have been reassigned to mitigate potential issues.
