In an official statement, Sun Pictures, the studio behind the film, expressed concern over the circulation of the clip on social media. They emphasized that their anti-piracy team is diligently monitoring the situation and will take appropriate actions to eliminate such content, which may include legal steps against accounts that share or promote the video.<\/p>\n
The production further urged media personnel and fan communities to avoid using, sharing, or reposting the leaked video to prevent the risk of account suspensions or restrictions. It was also noted that the production company would not be liable for any consequences arising from such actions.<\/p>\n
In a related incident, the unreleased film Jana Nayagan, featuring actor-politician Vijay, was also leaked online. The legal representatives of KVN Productions LLP, the company behind the film, issued a public notice condemning the spread and promotion of the film’s content. To date, nine individuals, including a freelance assistant editor, have been apprehended in connection with this leak.<\/p>\n
Jailer 2 is highly anticipated and set to release in 2026. The film stars Rajinikanth, reprising his role from the blockbuster Jailer, which reportedly grossed around Rs 650 crore during its theatrical run.<\/p>\n
The cast includes SJ Suryah, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Jatin Sarna, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, with special appearances by Mithun Chakraborty, Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, and Vijay Sethupathi.<\/p>\n
