For instance, the SCMP recounts an instance where a woman matched with a man with whom she did not share a personal rapport, only to discover he was employed at a company she aspired to join. Many professionals find dating apps to be more approachable than conventional networking environments. One user noted that interactions tend to be more courteous on these platforms, facilitating easier conversations. The convergence of job searching and dating is even influencing the design of these platforms. This phenomenon is not unique.
