The Indian School of Business (ISB) has celebrated the graduation of 808 students from its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) Class of 2026, coinciding with the institution’s 25th anniversary. The graduation ceremonies took place at the ISB campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali, with the Hyderabad event occurring on April 3, followed by the Mohali ceremony on April 6.<\/p>\n
The event in Mohali was graced by prominent figures, including ISB Dean Madan Pillutla, Executive Board Chairperson Harish Manwani, and Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairperson of the Mohali Campus Advisory Board. The chief guest for the ceremony was Francesca Cornelli, the dean of the Kellogg School of Management.<\/p>\n
As per the placement statistics shared by the institution, the Class of 2026 received a total of 1,117 job offers. The leading sectors for employment included consulting, technology, and banking and financial services. Notable recruiters comprised Accenture, Mastercard, EY GDS, along with top consulting firms such as McKinsey & Company, BCG, Bain & Company, and Deloitte. Additionally, tech giants like Amazon, Google, IBM, Razorpay, and Uber extended numerous job offers.<\/p>\n
This year saw the participation of 25 new companies in the recruitment process, including UBS, NTT Data, and Reliance Foundation Hospital. The number of international job offers rose to 30, up from 26 the previous year. The placement results indicated significant career transitions, with 67% of graduates moving to different industries and 69% changing their job functions.<\/p>\n
The average annual salary for this graduating class was reported at Rs 37.29 lakh, marking an increase from the previous year. The highest salary offered reached Rs 1.56 crore per annum. The school also highlighted a notable growth in post-program earnings compared to the salaries earned before entering the program.<\/p>\n
Established in 2001, the ISB PGP is a one-year, full-time residential management program designed for individuals with prior work experience. Over the span of 25 cohorts, the program has successfully produced more than 14,000 graduates across various sectors.
