Furthermore, Aboriginal women are reported to be 40 times more likely to require hospitalization due to family violence compared to their non-Aboriginal counterparts, according to the NT coroner.<\/p>\n
Following the stabbing incident in April 2023, Naroldol was initially charged with murder but later pleaded guilty after prosecutors agreed to reduce the charge to negligent manslaughter, which carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
