In a conversation with Honest Town Hall, Sesh recounted his experience of being cast and then dismissed from director Krishna Vamsi\u2019s film, initially titled Malipoo, later known as Chandamama. \u201cI submitted an audition tape from Mumbai and was chosen for the lead role. Unfortunately, this opportunity was short-lived, as I was let go just a few days after being signed,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n
What sets Sesh\u2019s narrative apart is his perspective. He expresses no resentment and refrains from blaming the filmmakers. Adivi Sesh recognized that he did not possess the necessary skills at that stage of his career, and he considers the dismissal justified.<\/p>\n
Instead of dwelling on the setback, Sesh committed himself to personal growth. The subsequent years of hard work led him to projects that cemented his reputation as a dependable leading actor in Telugu cinema. Films such as Goodachari and Major brought him both box office success and earned him the admiration of audiences.<\/p>\n
Chandamama was released in 2007, receiving positive reviews and performing well financially. It also marked a pivotal moment for another actress. Kajal Aggarwal had made her Telugu film debut earlier that year in Teja\u2019s Lakshmi Kalyanam, which had average box office results. However, Chandamama became her first significant hit, providing her with the exposure that her debut lacked. She later starred in SS Rajamouli\u2019s Magadheera in 2009, a film that significantly advanced her career.<\/p>\n
