Laird, at 27, initially pursued a modeling career for seven years, but her acting credits have since diversified. She has appeared in “28 Years Later” and “The Brutalist,” with her first TV role in Paramount+’s “Mayor of Kingstown.” She humorously summarizes her career thus far: “I’ve just been hiding behind all these men! I got a few roles where my agent would say, ‘This is something you should audition for,’ and it would often be as ‘Glen Powell’s girlfriend’ or ‘the love interest.’ While I appreciate the learning experience, I always question the depth of my characters.” <\/p>\n
On the other hand, Coyle-Larner has established a successful music career, receiving nominations for three Brit Awards and the Mercury Prize nearly a decade ago at the age of 22. He recalls, “I envisioned being involved in theater or writing plays, but life took its course.” After a personal tragedy in 2014, he shifted focus to music for financial reasons. “I’ve been open to acting for almost ten years, but most scripts I received were steeped in stereotypes.
