Another caller, Mary, suggested that large signs should be placed before the intersections of Glen Osmond and Greenhill Road to inform motorists of their options early on, as well as at the Glen Osmond\/Fullarton Road intersection.<\/p>\n
Jon Whelan, chief executive of the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, commented on the incident during a breakfast program, explaining that the truck had damaged several light poles near Crafers and the Mt Lofty Bridge, and had also caused a diesel spill.
