In response to allegations from the Trinamool Congress (TMC) claiming that the BJP was attempting to bribe former TMC leader Humayun Kabir to destabilize the government led by Mamata Banerjee, Shah asserted, “Mamata ji can create as many as 2,000 videos. Humayun Kabir and the BJP are as incompatible as the north and south poles; unity is impossible. The BJP will not ally with anyone associated with the Babri Masjid project in Bengal; we would prefer to be in the Opposition for two decades.” <\/p>\n
