Raje\u2019s remarks, made during a public engagement at the Kamkheda Balaji Dham temple in Jhalawar two days prior, gained significant attention. In response to the ensuing controversy, she clarified that her statements had been misinterpreted and taken out of context.<\/p>\n
During the inauguration of the fourth phase of a padyatra led by her son, local MP Dushyant Singh, Raje highlighted the construction of a four-lane road in her constituency. She explained that the residents of Jhalawar had requested alterations to the bypass alignment. Drawing from her own experience, she recounted how she had to adjust the boundaries of her property when a national highway was built near her home in Dholpur. \u201cIf I was unable to protect my own property from demolition due to regulations, how could I advocate for yours?\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n
Earlier in Jhalawar, Raje had expressed her awareness of residents’ grievances regarding housing, pensions, and compensation. She noted, \u201cPeople come to me with their problems, and I respond by saying that I have faced similar challenges. If I can\u2019t defend my own interests, how can I assist you?\u201d This led to residents urging her to advocate on their behalf despite her personal struggles.<\/p>\n
Raje\u2019s comments have been criticized for implying a lack of political efficacy, prompting her to express frustration over the misrepresentation of her words. She sarcastically remarked that certain individuals have been monitoring her statements, seeking any opportunity to misinterpret her message.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese are the same conspirators who have attempted this in the past without success,\u201d she said. \u201cWith the support of the people and divine blessings, I am confident they will continue to fail.\u201d<\/p>\n
In response to inquiries about Raje\u2019s statements, Rathore claimed that an erroneous interpretation was being circulated. \u201cShe never suggested that her initiatives are stalled. Her work is ongoing \u2014 I just spoke with her a few moments ago,\u201d he affirmed.<\/p>\n
When pressed for more details by reporters in Bikaner, Rathore, who serves as the national vice-president of the BJP, implied that the expectation of being Chief Minister is not a constant. He remarked, \u201cWhat has she failed to accomplish? This isn\u2019t a position one holds every time,\u201d before referencing a local proverb.<\/p>\n
