In light of the ongoing tensions stemming from the conflict with Iran, which have revealed the vulnerabilities in the UK’s historically special relationship with the United States, government representatives argue that this legislative approach could inject billions into the UK economy. They believe this strategy could mitigate the financial impacts of the conflict and enhance the country’s lagging productivity levels.<\/p>\n
The new legislation will implement a trade agreement for food and beverages with the EU and will include provisions that allow the UK government to align dynamically with EU regulations in areas where prior agreements exist.
