In the investigation of a murder case involving a Queensland man, Northern Territory Police have presented over 120 pieces of evidence. The accused, Blayze James Noble, 33, faces charges related to the death of his girlfriend, 27-year-old Christine Joyce Diane Marshall Hunter, during a recent road trip.<\/p>\n
Ms. Hunter’s body was discovered inside a four-wheel drive vehicle in the Avon Downs area of Barkly on Sunday, April 5. The couple’s journey included visits to various locations in Queensland, such as Ban Ban Springs, Emerald, Winton, Cloncurry, Mount Isa, and Camooweal.<\/p>\n
According to Ms. Hunter’s family, their last communication with her occurred on March 30. Reports indicate that Mr. Noble contacted emergency services to claim that his girlfriend had sustained injuries after their vehicle collided with a kangaroo. However, upon arrival, authorities found her deceased, prompting police to classify her death as suspicious.<\/p>\n
During today’s court proceedings, Mr. Noble did not attend, but his legal representative, Harvie Stiller, informed the court that he should be considered “at risk” for self-harm and is currently being held in a solitary confinement cell.<\/p>\n
Prosecutor Tania McKinney revealed that police from Tennant Creek have submitted a total of 127 pieces of evidence related to this case. The next court session is scheduled for July 30 at the Alice Springs local court.<\/p>\n
