Buildings that effectively implement waste management strategies, sewage treatment solutions, and adhere to the \u201cZero Waste\u201d philosophy will be eligible for direct tax rebates. The initiative is anticipated to inspire both residential complexes and commercial properties to enhance their waste management efforts and emphasize the recycling of wastewater, as stated by the civic authorities.<\/p>\n
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Pawar emphasized the goal of the discounts, stating, \u201cThe main aim of these incentives is to encourage buildings to adopt eco-friendly practices. If residents engage in on-site composting and install sewage treatment plants (STPs) while adhering to the Zero Waste concept, it will significantly bolster the city’s waste management framework.\u201d<\/p>\n
