On Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused unnamed individuals of conspiring to incite violence during protests in Noida, asserting that these actions threaten to undermine the state\u2019s progress and tranquility at a time when it is advancing towards stability and development.<\/p>\n
During a public address in Muzaffarnagar, the Chief Minister urged both workers and businesses to stay alert against any efforts that could disturb public order. He remarked, \u201cWhile the state is making strides towards development and peace, certain factions are attempting to instigate unrest. It is crucial to be vigilant against those who wish to disrupt industrial harmony and to thwart their intentions.\u201d<\/p>\n
Union Minister and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Jayant Chaudhary was also in attendance at the event.<\/p>\n
Adityanath encouraged businesses to foster open communication with their employees, reaffirming the government\u2019s commitment to supporting both entrepreneurs and laborers by ensuring job security and fair compensation. He emphasized the importance of labor reforms, stating, \u201cLast year, we established a corporation to enhance labor conditions, and we will begin implementing its recommendations this month. Sanitation workers and outsourced staff will receive their guaranteed minimum wages directly into their bank accounts, promoting transparency and eliminating intermediaries. We are also progressing towards guaranteeing Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) benefits for all workers.\u201d<\/p>\n
He noted that this initiative would extend to industrial sectors as well.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister assured that the state government is actively addressing the unrest in Noida, urging workers to unite and prevent those who incite discord from achieving their goals.<\/p>\n
In a broader perspective, Yogi Adityanath contrasted India\u2019s stability with global conditions, questioning whether similar safety could be found in countries like Pakistan, Iran, or parts of Europe. He credited Prime Minister Modi for fostering a sense of security among 1.45 billion Indians, highlighting this as a testament to India\u2019s strength.<\/p>\n
He further pointed out that while global inflation and fuel prices have soared, India has managed to keep prices stable.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the Chief Minister announced plans to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh on December 23, emphasizing the need to honor significant figures without restricting their legacy to narrow caste distinctions. He urged society to collectively recognize and respect such icons.<\/p>\n
Addressing local governance, Yogi Adityanath also called for the development of a proposal to elevate Muzaffarnagar to a municipal corporation, stating that accelerated urban growth necessitates improved governance frameworks.<\/p>\n
