During the Kolkata Knight Riders’ defeat against the Chennai Super Kings, Green bowled two overs, conceding 30 runs, and was dismissed on the very first ball he faced, achieving a golden duck.<\/p>\n
This year, Kolkata secured the Australian all-rounder for $4.17 million at the IPL auction, with Green set to earn just under $3 million due to restrictions on foreign player salaries.<\/p>\n
The management of the Kolkata Knight Riders recently stated their commitment to Green for the long term, which may be necessary, as the record-setting overseas signing has had a particularly tough outing during this subpar season.<\/p>\n
In five innings, Green has managed to accumulate only 56 runs, having been dismissed four times with scores of 18, 2, 4, 32 not out, and 0.
