Sri Lanka is set to present a proposed amendment to its Immigration and Emigration Act, with plans to offer complimentary tourist visas to travelers from 39 nations, as stated by Minister Nalinda Jayatissa.
This initiative, aimed at boosting the tourism industry, was initially revealed last year, although it has not yet been put into action.
The list of eligible countries includes, among others, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, and Thailand.
