Dyson has announced the launch of its inaugural handheld fan, named the HushJet Mini Cool, signifying an advancement in its cooling technology range.
The HushJet Mini Cool fan can be utilized in three distinct configurations: as a handheld device, positioned on a desk, or worn with optional accessories. Weighing a mere 212 grams, this fan is designed for portability, making it ideal for travel, commuting, or daily usage.
Equipped with a brushless DC motor capable of reaching speeds of up to 65,000 revolutions per minute (RPM), the fan can generate airflow velocities of up to 25 meters per second. It features five adjustable speed settings along with a ‘Boost’ mode for enhanced cooling performance when required. According to Dyson, the integrated battery provides up to six hours of operation on a full charge and can be completely recharged in approximately three hours via a USB-C connector.
Central to the fan’s design is Dyson’s innovative HushJet projection system, which aims to deliver concentrated airflow while minimizing noise levels. The company highlighted its efforts to reduce high-frequency sounds and eliminate the conventional whirring noise typically associated with small fan models.

The fan is offered in three distinct color combinations: Ink/Cobalt, Carnelian/Sky, and Stone/Blush.
The HushJet Mini Cool package includes a neck dock, a charging stand, a USB-C cable, and a travel pouch. Additional accessories, such as a universal mount and grip clip, can be purchased separately for added convenience.
The fan is currently being rolled out in selected international markets, with its debut in India anticipated in the near future.
