Dhurandhar 2 Global Box Office Report Day 22: Ranveer Singh’s film slips to single-digit earnings with a total of ₹1,665 crore.

Box Office Update for Dhurandhar Part 2 on Day 22: The film, featuring Ranveer Singh, has outperformed its predecessors, RRR and KGF: Chapter 2, at the global box office. However, its domestic performance is slowing down as it moves into the fourth week. On its fourth Thursday, Dhurandhar: The Revenge experienced a decline in revenue, generating Rs 7.15 crore net in India, compared to Rs 7.90 crore collected on Wednesday.

With Thursday’s earnings, the film’s cumulative domestic net collection has reached Rs 1,048.42 crore, while its gross figures in India amount to Rs 1,255.23 crore. Internationally, Dhurandhar 2 has grossed Rs 410 crore, bringing its total worldwide earnings to Rs 1,665.23 crore.

On April 9, Dhurandhar 2 was showcased in 12,418 screenings across India, achieving an overall occupancy rate of 12.3%. The highest occupancy was recorded in Chennai at 16.5%, followed by Bengaluru and Pune at 15% each.

Despite its box office success, Dhurandhar 2 is facing legal challenges. The producers of the 1989 film Tridev have initiated legal action, claiming that the song “Tirchi Topi Wale” was used without permission in Dhurandhar 2’s track “Rang De Lal.” A hearing is set for May 6, and the court has denied the filmmakers any interim relief. Both sides are encouraged to seek a resolution through mediation and must attend the Delhi High Court mediation center on April 22.

Dhurandhar 2 is helmed by director Aditya Dhar and is a collaborative project between Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The cast includes Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, Danish Pandor, and Manav Gohil.

Following a positive review from director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who praised Dhurandhar 2 as ‘outstanding’, Aditya Dhar responded on X, expressing admiration for Vanga’s commitment to his work. Dhar emphasized the importance of staying true to one’s artistic voice and offered his support, wishing Vanga the best for his upcoming project, Spirit.

In international markets, Dhurandhar 2 has garnered Rs 410 crore, making it the second highest-grossing Indian film overseas since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, just behind Pathaan, which currently leads with Rs 412 crore. On Day 22, the film earned Rs 3 crore internationally, contributing to a total overseas collection of Rs 410 crore and an impressive worldwide gross of Rs 1,665.23 crore.

According to trade website Sacnilk, on Day 22, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge added Rs 7.15 crore net from its extensive showing, reinforcing its strong performance in theaters. The film’s net domestic collection now stands at Rs 1,048.42 crore.
