Actress Rakul Preet Singh recently shared insights about a back injury she sustained last year while working on the film “De De Pyaar De 2.” She revealed that this injury is the primary reason she has stopped wearing high heels. In an interview with Team Varinder Chawla in November 2025, she recounted, “I suffered a spine injury during the filming of De De Pyaar De 2. I had completed about half of the movie when the injury occurred, leaving me bedridden for 40 days. It was a challenging time, and I felt helpless, unsure of when I would be able to walk or stand again.” She noted that her recovery took nearly a year.

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Rakul elaborated on her decision to avoid heels during her recovery period. “I used to wear heels quite often, but I stopped doing so a year ago due to my back injury. Until I feel completely strong again, I believe it’s not worth the risk of enduring pain once more,” she expressed.
